Magic edges Cavs
Dwight Howard matched a career high with 35 points and Orlando's Hedo Turkoglu tied up LeBron James for a jump ball in the final second of overtime to help the Magic remain unbeaten on the road with a 117-116 win over the Cavaliers on Wednesday night.
Howard, who couldn't be stopped down low, was fouled by Drew Gooden and made 2 free throws with 5.8 seconds left. Following a timeout, James, who finished with 39 points, 14 assists and 13 rebounds, drove the lane past Keith Bogans but was wrapped up by Turkoglu.
Orlando's forward got his hands on the ball but also on James' forearms. Referee Leon Wood signaled for a jump ball, and as Cleveland fans booed loudly, James walked around with a puzzled look on his face.
James won the jump, but the ball bounced out of bounds as the Magic improved to an NBA-best 5-0 on the road.
Howard added 16 rebounds and Jameer Nelson had 21 points and 11 assists for the Magic.
