Pricey puppies stolen from Chicago pet store
A pet store in Chicago is trying to locate nearly 20 stolen puppies.
The owner of Pet Luv Pet Center, Cindy Groenewold, says the puppies worth thousands of dollars were taken Saturday after someone shattered a front window at the store.
The stolen animals include several boxers and beagles, as well as a puggle and a Pekinese.
The owner says she assumes the dogs will be sold at a flea market somewhere.
After the break in, police found four puppies in an alley.
The owner says whoever took the dogs probably wasn't very gentle with them.
