Maple Park teen charged with sex abuse
A Maple Park teen faces prison time after being charged with fondling two girls younger than 13.
Nicholas Seven, 17, of 0N930 Countryside Road, is accused of fondling and kissing the girls between April 7 and Aug. 6, according to an October indictment.
Seven has 12 counts of aggravated criminal abuse lodged against him.
Aggravated criminal sexual abuse carries three to seven years in prison upon conviction.
Kane County Assistant State's Attorney Christine Bayer said Seven knew his victims but declined further comment.
Seven was arrested last week and was being held at the Kane County jail on $75,000 bond.
His next court date is Thursday.
If Seven does post $7,500 and get released from jail, he is to have no contact with anyone younger than 18.
