'Nutcracker' tickets going on sale today

Ticket sales for the Libertyville High School performances of Dancenter North's 19th annual production of "The Magic of the Nutcracker" will begin today.

"The Magic of the Nutcracker" will be presented at 3 p.m. Dec. 8 and at 1 and 5 p.m. Dec. 9 at Libertyville High School's Butler Auditorium. Libertyville High School is at 708 West Park Ave., Libertyville. Tickets for these performances can only be purchased through Dancenter North by calling (847) 367-7970 or by stopping by in person at the office at 540 North Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.

"The Magic of the Nutcracker" also will be performed at 3 p.m. Dec. 15 and 16 at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan. Tickets for the Genesee Theatre performances are available at the theater's box office at 203 N. Genesee St., Waukegan, or by contacting Ticketmaster at (312) 559-1212 or www.ticketmaster.com.
