Elgin police officer nothing but lazy

I am an ex-police officer who earned three commendations for exemplary performance of duty and was shot once in the line of duty.

Recently, I was involved in a car accident in Elgin. It was handled by the laziest, most unprofessional Elgin police officer I ever met. It was like we were bothering him. This Elgin officer was so lazy he refused to get out of his squad car to investigate the accident.

The third car involved in the accident was not even listed on the accident report because that would have required this lazy police officer to add a third sheet to the accident report. This officer also refused to identify himself either by badge number, last name or business card, which totally does away with police accountability.

This Elgin police officer with overtime makes close to six figures a year in salary. When I was a police officer, I was not even making 25 percent of that. Maybe instead of overpaying these lazy cops, they should be terminated and the over capacity roads in the Elgin area added on to.

A week before my car accident there was a fatal accident in this same area. I think it is time the Elgin police chief gets her department's house together.
