Cubs '80s pop anthem = World Series championship?
An '80s pop anthem can take you places.
The Bulls used Alan Parson Project's 1982 hit "Eye in the Sky" to introduce their championship teams, and that other Chicago baseball team didn't stop believin' in Journey's 1981 hit until they had a World Series trophy.
"Go, Cubs, Go" is a fine '80s song, but it was no hit (although, it's a big improvement over the tiresome and inappropriate "Get Down Tonight," by KC and the Sunshine Band which used to be played at Wrigley Field).
We searched through the '80s pop music archives in search of a tune the Cubs could adopt for the post-season. The possibilities were endless, but we narrowed them down to 10
