Health fair to include screenings, shots
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 20, Tri City Health Partnership, The Salvation Army and Delnor-Community Hospital will sponsor a free health fair, at the Salvation Army Facility at 1710 S. Seventh Avenue in St. Charles.
The fair will offer free screenings for asthma, blood sugar/glucose, child developmental screening, depression, neck & spine, high blood pressure, HIV, osteoporosis and more.
Vaccinations for flu pneumonia and DPT will be available for a minimal fee ($25, $35 and $45).
In addition, those attending the fair will have the opportunity to learn about arthritis, resources for cancer education and prevention as well as information on free mammograms, after hospital home care, hospice and bereavement services, nutrition, county health education programs and more.
