Find, get your love at Anderson fundraiser

Anderson Animal Shelter is hosting its annual dinner and auction from 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Holiday Inn and Suites, 495 Airport Road in Elgin.

The evening with the theme, "Come and Get Your Love," will feature champagne, dinner, a silent auction, and a live auction.

Tickets are $80 per person. Various levels of corporate and individual sponsorship are available.

Proceeds from this event benefit the shelter, which provides temporary housing for approximately 3,400 homeless or abandoned companion animals annually.

The shelter is committed not only to providing shelter to animals in need, but also to eliminating the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals, and helping curb pet overpopulation through its spaying and neutering efforts.
