Adoption is not always a great idea

In the abortion debate, respect for quality of life and others individuals' points of view apparently are being ignored. As it stands, abortion is legal, as well it should be, regardless of what someone's religion believes it should be.

Religious beliefs should not be imposed on others. A person has a choice to make about producing a child who is the result of an unwanted pregnancy. There is nothing much worse than putting yet another unwanted child into this uncompassionate society.

Adoption is not a universally sound option. Just ask many of the adopted children who landed in homes of adoptive parents who did not provide the types of caring homes the birth mother is led to believe exist.

I was adopted and I am firmly in favor of abortion. Adoption was the price I paid for being born.
