Madagascar hissing roach joins Wheel of Fright tasting options

As if cockroaches weren't enough, people are now being asked to lie in a coffin of 130,000 mealworms since Six Flags Great America opened Fright Fest on Saturday.

After the success of seeing people eat Madagascar hissing cockroaches in 2006, the theme park is asking one brave soul every weekend to lie inside a see-through coffin of squirming mealworms for their chance to win a family pack of season passes in 2008.

But don't fret -- the cockroaches are returning, along with other digestible insects, as the Wheel of Fright is spun during the same half-hour program on Friday nights. If people eat whatever comes up on the wheel, they can go to the front of "one or two" rides (determined by how hard the task is to complete) during the course of the evening.
