Vaughn evidence put under wraps

Evidence exchanged between prosecutors and defense lawyers will be sealed in the case of an Oswego man charged with fatally shooting his wife and children in the family's sport utility vehicle.

Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow wanted evidence sealed during the discovery process in Christopher Vaughn's trial.

Lawyers for Vaughn supported the motion, which was approved by Judge Dan Rozak. Vaughn has pleaded not guilty to four counts of first-degree murder in the June deaths of his wife, Kimberly, and the couple's three young children. Glasgow says he's seeking the death penalty.
