Anti-abortion view not really 'radical'
As a Christian who believes in the truth contained in the Old and New Testaments, I feel rather helpless that many pro-choice people don't, can't or won't appreciate the Christian abhorrence of abortion.
Christianity has a Biblical spiritual explanation for what happens at conception and at death and what supports life between these two milestones. To help understand our perceived radical beliefs, try reading Genesis 1:11-12; Nehemiah 9:5-6; Genesis 2:7; Jeremiah 32:35; Genesis 9:1; Acts 17:22-31; Leviticus 20:2-3; Hebrews 12:9; or James 2:26
If you don't have or can't locate a Bible, try Googling "Why I am pro-life: A pro-life vs. pro-choice testimony" by Pastor Jim Feeney, Ph.D. Also please read about fetal development in a medical dictionary and ponder what a fetus is doing and looks like at 30 days in the womb.
Pro-life people understand that pro-choice people want or need abortion to be an item included under the umbrella of "health care." Please forgive us when we believe that human life is a gift from God rather than an "inconvenience" to be treated as a disease requiring medical treatment.
