Never notified of DCHS open house
Regarding the Oct. 15 article titled, "A tale of two open houses."
The story on the Sunday open houses at Jacobs and Dundee-Crown High Schools left me wondering who set these meetings up. We were never notified of this event.
I would have loved to have been there so that I could rave to your insightful reporter about how wonderful Dundee-Crown High School was and is to both of our children.
Low turnout appears to be why you devoted a whopping two paragraphs and tiny picture to the east-side high school as opposed to Jacobs, which received much more press. I now know which of Algonquin's two high schools lie at the end of the rainbow, or at least the other side of the bridge.
