Carol Stream Panthers Yellow 130-pound Silver: The Panthers Yellow team defeated the Lombard Falcons White 14-6 to advance to the Bill George Youth Football League playoffs.

The Panthers scored on their opening drive, with Matthew Green doing a quarterback sneak for a touchdown. M.J. Talavera kicked the extra point for an 8-0 lead.

With the score 8-6 in the third quarter, and Carol Stream facing a fourth-and-four, the Panthers relied on running back Dan Fiero to get the first down.

Fiero broke free for a 38-yard run, setting up first-and-goal. Two plays later, Fiero punched in the score, putting the Panthers ahead 14-6.

With the win, Carol Stream secured the No. 1 seed in the playoffs.
