Library Friends paging book lovers for fall used book sale
Plan on finding great bargains and good buys today and Saturday as the Friends of the Dundee Township Public Library hold their popular Fall Used Book Sale.
Thousands of used books, CDs/DVDs and audiotapes will be sold at prices from 50 cents for paperbacks to $1 for hardcovers, with some priced slightly higher.
Book selections range from adult fiction and romance, to travel, history, home improvement, cookbooks, Christmas books and other non-fiction items. There will also be many children's books available.
The sale will take place in the library's lower-level meeting room, 555 Barrington Ave., East Dundee. The hours are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today and Saturday.
All proceeds will be used to benefit the library. Friends of the Library is group of community members dedicated to enriching the library through fundraising, beautification projects, outreach efforts and promotion of the library. If you are interested in joining, call (847) 428-3661, ext. 314. Or plan on attending their monthly meeting on the third Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at the library.
