Time maybe right for term limits

Now may be the right time to vote for term limits. A president can't serve more than eight years. Why should a representative or senator remain in office 20 to 30 years, allowing each one of them to sway votes for their pet projects? The election can be done on a rotating basis so we always have half of Congress still serving.

The biggest change would be to have every congressman pay into Social Security -- only the president and vice-president should benefit from a pension. This could boost Social Security, and maybe attract those who want to truly serve their country without benefiting a special interest group.

We are seeing partisanship that is causing gridlock for America to move forward. Also, the time being spent in rehashing policies that have been voted on already are wasting taxpayers' money.
