R.-Brookfield @ Fenton

R.-Brookfield (4-4, 4-1) at Fenton (4-4, 3-2)

Metro Suburban Conference

Game time: 7 p.m., today.

Earlier this year: Fenton 23, Riverside-Brookfield 7.

Last week: Riverside-Brookfield 27, Ridgewood 0; Fenton 14, Elmwood Park 13.

Outlook: Both teams become playoff eligible with a win, but while 40 playoffs points virtually guarantee a berth for Riverside-Brookfield with a win, Fenton's 32 points keep it on the bubble even if it beats R-B. After an 0-3 start the Bulldogs have notched all their victories in the MSC. Fenton, which has beaten R-B three straight times, can forge a share of its second straight MSC title with a victory. The Bison nipped Elmwood Park last week despite managing only 120 yards of offense. Thanks to big plays on defense by D.J. Anderson and Frankie Lazzara, strong special teams play and short fields, the Bison kept its title hopes alive. The top goal tonight is to get the offense moving again.
