Kane County
• A car was broken into Thursday at 6N491 Brierwood Drive, Campton Township. Nothing was stolen.
• A vehicle crashed into a fence, causing $100 in damage, about 4:20 p.m. Thursday at 14N481 McCornack Road, Rutland Township.
Geneva
• Gregory L. Nutt Jr., 26, of 222 Larsdotter Lane, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being stopped in the 1400 block of Bent Tree Drive at 12:18 a.m. Friday. He was also charged with possession of marijuana (fewer than 30 grams), driving on a suspended or revoked driver's license, driving an uninsured vehicle and having no valid registration.
• A man driving a gold-colored car stole nine gallons of unleaded gasoline, valued at $28, from the Citgo station at 618 S. Batavia Ave. at 2:52 p.m. Wednesday.
• An orange-and-white purse and a 24-pack of Monster energy drink were stolen from unlocked vehicles in an open garage between 7 and 11 p.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of Sunflower Drive. There were two credit cards, a store charge card, a driver's license, a Social Security card and a cell phone charger in the purse.
