Marketplace vote delayed in Antioch
A decision on Antioch Marketplace, a sprawling shopping center planned for Route 173, was again put on hold Monday when two village trustees did not attend a special meeting on the proposal.
Mayor Dorothy Larson said the project was too important to vote on without Trustees Dennis Crosby and Bob Caulfield.
Larson anticipates the board voting on the project during its regularly scheduled meeting Monday.
If approved, Antioch Marketplace will bring a Target, Lowe's, Kohl's, Best Buy and other stores to the east end of the village.
