Second of two bank robbers pleads guilty
The second of two men accused of a February bank robbery in Hoffman Estates pleaded guilty today.
Allen Hudson, 40, of Calumet City and Andra Davis, 36, of Chicago were accused of robbing the Fifth-Third Bank at 4653 W. Higgins and then leading police on a high-speed chase on Interstate 90.
Davis pleaded guilty Sept. 11 before U.S. District Judge Joan Gottschall and Hudson entered his plea today, said Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles Ex.
According to the plea agreement, Hudson entered the bank with a .357 magnum and demanded money from a teller, receiving $4,507. Davis waited outside as the getaway driver.
The two then drove off, but were spotted by police on Interstate 90, where the chase began. Hudson and Davis threw the gun and money out of the window before eventually crashing in Elk Grove Village, where they were arrested.
Both face a minimum of seven years in prison when they are sentenced - Davis on Jan. 9 and Hudson on Jan. 16.
