Yes, 2 a.m. trips sound about right
This letter is in response to Penny Novy, the only person whose time is limited (Fence Post, Sept. 6). We all know who she is. She is the one that rides two inches from your bumper and expects you to move over for her. She is the one who thinks the road belongs to her. In answer to her question No. 1, I totally agree with her suggestion. I think it would be a good idea if she shopped at 2 a.m.
That would also fix question No. 2, as parents would not have their children out shopping at that time. We all have time constraints; she is not alone whether we are retired or still working. I would tell Ms. Novy: "Get into the real world." Start shopping at 2 a.m. That would make our shopping trips much better; we would not have to put up with impatience.
