Magazine director to share her success strategies
The YWCA Lake County invites Editorial Director of Essence Magazine, Susan L. Taylor, to serve as its luncheon keynote speaker for the 2007 Circle of Women Fundraiser on Sept. 28 at the Crowne Plaza Chicago North Shore, 510 E. Route 83, Mundelein.
Taylor will share her strategies for creating personal happiness and success.
The YWCA has expanded the Circle of Women event to include a free symposium in the morning followed by a networking session and then the luncheon with Taylor. Taylor will stay following the luncheon for book sales and autographs.
The educational symposium, titled "Discovering Your Vision of Financial Independence," will begin at 9 a.m. and will include an interactive discussion with a panel of experts consisting of a personal coach, a psychologist, a credit specialist and financial experts. The YWCA believes a woman who is economically self-sufficient is a woman who brings strength to her family and community. She is less likely to suffer from violence, domestic abuse and dependence.
Early registration is recommended due to limited seating. While the symposium and networking sessions are free, the luncheon cost is $100.
