Club sponsoring hearing screening

The Palatine Lions Club will sponsor a free hearing screening for ages 18 and up -- ages 10 to 17 with written parental consent -- from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Palatine Township office, 721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine.

The club will also accept donations of used keys, cell phones, ink cartridges, eyeglasses, and hearing aids. These items will be recycled to keep them out of landfills, as well as generate income to support programs sponsored by the Lions of Illinois Foundation.
