Learn about Congo families

Tom and Jan Sullivan, who have recently visited the Congo to learn more about the lives of the women and children in that area, will speak from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library. More than four million people have died in the Congo since 1998 because of the ongoing conflict in that region.

Following the presentation by the guest speakers there will be a discussion on ways we can help, including the upcoming Chicago Run for Congo Women 5K Run/Walk.
