Church to hold a rummage sale to aid local groups

First Congregational Church of Dundee will hold its fall rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at 900 S. Eighth St., West Dundee.. A bag day discount sale will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.

First Congregational Church provides financial support to area organizations in the community serving children and families and continues its assistance to an area family in need with groceries and school supplies.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to fund these charities, which help the hungry, the homeless and those in need in the community.
