'Pied Piper' lures five dozen kids to cast

Ela Theatre Company will present "Pied Piper -- the Musical" with a cast of 60 local children in third through ninth grades, at 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Lakeview Community Church, 330 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich.

Advance tickets are $10, $5 for ages 5 and under, and are available at Cambridge Bank; or via e-mail at pied pipertickets@aol.com.

Tickets will be sold for $12 at the door, $8 for kids.

Ela Theatre Company Inc. is a new theater company organized by Kathy Butler, a Hawthorn Woods resident and director of numerous local theater productions over the past 12 years.

The company creates opportunities for adults and children in Ela Township to partake in all aspects of productions. One of the goals of ETC is to build a black-box theater in Lake Zurich.
