Briefs: Cafe and Wolves team with Scouts

To kick-off the 2007 Boy Scout popcorn sale, the Chicago Wolves mascot, Skates, will appear at Colonial Cafe in St. Charles. He will be at the shop at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at 1625 E. Main St. The cafe and hockey team are partnering again with the local Three Fires Council, Boy Scouts of America. Scouts who sell more than $250 in popcorn will receive a coupon from the ice cream shop. Every Scout that sells $1,000 will receive two tickets to the Jan. 19 Wolves game.

Local CPA firm earns recognition
