Barrington hospital looking for volunteers

If you've ever thought about volunteering, Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington is the place to start.

You can volunteer in many areas throughout the hospital -- during the day, in the evening or on the weekends. Whatever is most convenient for your schedule.

Volunteers play a very important role at Good Shepherd Hospital by helping to provide high quality, cost effective healthcare to our community.

Our volunteers all share one common desire to help and to give of themselves. For many, it can simply mean being a friend, sharing a talent, lending a hand with paper work or talking with a patient. We rely on volunteers to enhance many of our programs and services; so we need your help.

In addition to an adult program, Good Shepherd also has a Volun-Teen program for those ages 15 to 18. Teen opportunities are available after school and on the weekends.
