Brewers' manager, catcher clash
Brewers catcher Johnny Estrada and manager Ned Yost got into a heated dispute in a dugout tunnel late in Thursday's 12-4 loss to the New York Mets, host Milwaukee's 10th defeat in 14 games.
Estrada and Yost nearly tangled in the tunnel leading from the dugout to the clubhouse. Infielder Tony Graffanino stepped between them while pitcher Ben Sheets and pitching coach Mike Maddux stood in front of Estrada.
The Mets' Damion Easley hit the first inside-the-park homer at Miller Park in five years, breaking a sixth-inning tie.

Another newcomer, former White Sox Rob Mackowiak, also made his first San Diego start, filling in for injured right fielder Brian Giles. Mackowiak went 2-for-5, stole a base and scored 2 runs.
Pirates 5, Cardinals 4 (11): Pinch hitter Jose Castillo singled home the winning run with two outs in the 11th inning, and host Pittsburgh beat St. Louis.
Nationals 7, Reds 3: Ryan Zimmerman and the rest of Washington's suddenly potent offense gave Cincinnati starter Phil Dumatrait a rude welcome to the major leagues, and the host Nationals beat the Reds to cap a three-game sweep.
Rockies 4, Marlins 3: Matt Holliday doubled home the tying run in the eighth inning and scored on Garrett Atkins' sacrifice fly, helping Colorado beat host Florida.
