Cook County should be next target

I find it absolutely amazing that Gov. Blagojevich has been arrested on charges of alleged corruption while politicians in Cook County have been running rampant for years. Not to downplay the allegations against the governor. If they are true, he should be prosecuted. I just wonder if it's possible that the people running Cook County are too powerful to be subjects of such an investigation? If they aren't, then the question becomes, why is the most corrupt county in the country allowed to do business as usual?
