Brewers agree to 1-year deal with 3B Lamb
MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Brewers have agreed to a one-year contract with infielder Mike Lamb on Tuesday, setting up a potential platoon with Bill Hall at third base next season.
Lamb began last season in Minnesota, but was waived by the Twins and signed with Milwaukee on Sept. 5. He went on to bat .273 in 11 games for the Brewers.
Milwaukee also has agreed to a one-year deal with right-handed reliever Todd Coffey, avoiding arbitration.
