More research needed on Obama's claims

Isn't it self-serving for the Obama team to produce a report saying that Congressman Rahm Emanuel and the entire Obama team did nothing inappropriate regarding the Senate seat scandal? Also isn't it strange that they used the word "inappropriate" instead of "illegal"?

Do Americans still have a media which serves as a watchdog for America, for honesty? Will they conduct a journalistic investigation into this entire brouhaha?

Underlying this entire government-media relationship which is one of suspicion to conservative Republicans such as myself is this daunting problem: The media seems to be painfully in the tank for Obama. This is only one act of very many more regarding Gov. Blagojevich's six years of misdeeds according to federal authorities. They will be playing out in months and years to come.

So media will have ample opportunities to publicize many connections between all the Democrats (and Republicans) with Blagojevich. Most interesting to the public would be the years of political harmony between Blagojevich and the Obama team. That team includes Emanuel.
