Drugs lead to Villa Park arrest
Villa Park police arrested Lamont Rogers, 29, of the 0-100 block of East Vermont in Villa Park, on a charge of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance on Tuesday.
Police executed a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged illicit drug activity, according to a press release. Officers reported finding more than 15 grams of crack cocaine.
Rogers is being held on $200,000 bond. Unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, more than 15 grams, is a Class X Felony which carries a possible six to 30 year prison sentence and fines up to $25,000.
