UAL plans to sell up to $200 million in shares

United Airlines parent UAL Corp. said it would sell as much as $200 million in shares and use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.

JP Morgan Securities Inc. and Morgan Stanley & Co. will manage the sale, Chicago-based UAL said today in a U.S. regulatory filing. UAL fell 68 percent this year in Nasdaq trading before today.
