No injuries in I-88 collision near Aurora

Illinois state police said no one was injured when a car and a semi collided on I-88 near Aurora early Thursday morning.

The accident took place at about 5:50 a.m., near Farnsworth Road, dispatchers said.

The two people involved in the crash refused treatment at the scene.

The accident was cleared off to the side at about 6:50, officials said, but caused major backups in the eastbound lanes.
