Batavia High 'Kick-a-thon' benefits children's charity

The Batavia High School Dance Team will be having its second annual Holiday Kick-a-thon on Friday, Dec. 19 during half-time of the Batavia vs. Geneva boys basketball game. Both the junior varsity at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity game at 7 p.m. will provide spectators with half-time entertainment.

A kickline comprised of dancers and community supporters will be demonstrating their "moves", all for charity. Donations will be collected for the "Reach for the Moon" Foundation, a local organization dedicated to providing the "basic needs" for children. The foundation receives and encourages gifts from individuals, businesses, organizations and other foundations in order to work toward providing basic needs to local children.
