Teen gets 4 years in pizza theft

BLOOMINGTON -- A Bloomington teenager will spend four years in prison for stealing three pizzas and an order of breadsticks.

A judge sentenced 19-year-old Joshua Wilburn on Monday for the March 31st theft. The judge agreed with prosecutors that Wilburn's previous criminal record, which includes two felonies, should send him to prison.

Wilburn is accused of ordering $39 in pizza. Authorities say he took the food when it was delivered to his home, then he locked the door and refused to answer it.

The teen's public defender asked the court to consider Wilburn's mental health background.
