Chicago Botanic Garden

• The Wonderland Express featuring holiday horticultural displays and more continues through Sunday, Jan. 4. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily (holiday hours differ). Admission costs $10; $8 for seniors and ages 3 to 12.

• A library exhibition on plants and gardens in children's storybooks continues through Sunday, Feb. 1.

The Chicago Botanic Garden is at 1000 Lake-Cook Road, Glencoe. Admission is free, but parking costs $15. (847) 835-5440 or chicagobotanic.org.

Morton Arboretum

• Kathy O'Malley and Judy Markey's "Kathy and Judy" WGN-AM radio show is broadcast live from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, Dec. 14. Admission is free during the show.

• Special "Supper With Santa" dinners are held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Dec. 18. Cost is $38.88 and $34.56 for kids ages 2 to 12.
