Two break in, rob home

The Hawthorn Woods Police Department is investigating a home invasion and robbery that happened Tuesday evening. Two people forced their way into a home on the 100 block of Westwind Court in Hawthorn Woods sometime around 6 p.m. Police said the offenders restrained a person in the home and fled with items they stole. The victim was slightly injured but was not hospitalized. The police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call (847) 438-9050.
