Woman crashes into Arlington Hts. bank

No one was injured Wednesday when a Prospect Heights woman crashed her car into an Arlington Heights bank branch around 2 p.m., police said.

Arlington Heights police Cmdr. Michael Miljan said the 84-year-old driver crashed her Chevrolet Malibu into the Citibank branch at 1828 N. Arlington Heights Road, shattering two large windows and dislodging some bricks.

The woman was not issued any citations because the incident happened on private property, Miljan said.
