Northbrook community takes full advantage of location
Meadow Ridge has made a splash with homebuyers who have already purchased 100 residences in a private, gated community that showcases water features, lavish landscaping and a walking path.
KZF Development recently opened a luxury townhouse model at the Northbrook community, which will have 164 townhouse and duplex residences.
Meadow Ridge is designed as a maintenance-free lifestyle for empty-nester couples who like to spend the winter in Arizona or Florida and want the security of a gated community, sales manager Shannon Gibson-Giampa said.

Buyers have a choice of two townhouse floor plans and four duplex designs with brick exteriors and water views. Townhouses are built in clusters of four units per building while duplexes are built side-by-side. Each features two or three bedrooms, 21/2 baths and two-car garage.
The Unit E model with a base price of $495,000 features 2,236 square feet of living space plus a 285-square-foot unfinished bonus space, two bedrooms, 21/2 baths and two-car attached garage.
The model interior by Scott Arthur Yerkey Design Inc. features a metropolitan look with colors that give it a fresh, young energy - aqua, blues, greens and a little unexpected touch of raspberry, Yerkey said.
