The Bandits are the 2008 National Professional Fastpitch Champions and they will be playing 25 home games at Judson University (near Interstate 90 and Route 31) in Elgin.
It is only their second season in Elgin, after transferring from Benedictine University in Lisle.
The champs will be defending the title with three Olympians on their team.
Pitcher Jennie Finch and infielder Vicky Galindo will be back. They were teammates on the 2008 U.S. Olympic team that won the silver medal, losing to Japan. Outfielder Caitlin Lever played for the Canadian Olympic team.
"We had a great team last year, and we'll have a really good team next year," said Lindsay Bjerke, who works in ticket operations for the Bandits.
With the discount, a full season ticket is $476 for seating in the V.I.P. section behind home plate, $238 for seating along first base, and $190 for seating in the outfield. Other season ticket plans for fewer than 25 games are also available.
Single tickets are $20 in the V.I.P. section, $10 at first base and $8 for an outfield seat.
The team played 28 home games last year and drew an average of 1,500 fans per game.
The Bandits have their first home game June 3.
