Prayer group's views are too limited
The story on the front page of Nov. 19th's Daily Herald states: "A lot of the kids at school don't have a Christian world view," says suburban mother Sue Moritz, and those "pressures" and "negatives" scare her! I wonder what she'd think of a group of Islamic, Jewish, Sikh, Buddhist, Hindu and/or Native American Spiritualist mothers sitting around praying to keep their children safe from all those negative Christian kids?
She should home-school her kids or send them to some closed-minded Christian school that meets her approval. Then her children won't have to interact with anyone who is "different" until they enter the work force as close-minded and scared as their mother.
As for me I totally enjoy my friends and neighbors who are Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu and, yes, Christian.
