Car hits building in Arlington Heights

A car hit a building at the corner of Arlington Heights Road and Northwest Highway about 10 a.m. today, injuring the driver, who was transported to the hospital, according to an employee of the business.

Damage to the building, home to Family Hearcare Center of Arlington Heights, 218 E. Northwest Hwy., wasn't major, with a window broken and some bricks dislodged.

Matt Clark, director of marketing for the parent company Accuquest Hearing Centers, said no one was hurt. Only a receptionist was present when the accident occurred as two other employees who normally would have been present were at a conference, he said.
