8 hurt in crash involving ambulance
Chicago police have cited a 26-year-old woman in connection with a four vehicle crash on the city's far South Side that injured eight people, including two paramedics from a Chicago Fire Department ambulance.
Officers say Latoya Mafield was cited with failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, failure to produce a driver's license and damage of city property.
All the victims from Saturday morning's crash were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened at the intersection of West 103rd and South Morgan Streets in the Washington Heights neighborhood.
