Do you know someone to be thankful for?
Even as many of us struggle during these tough economic times - and, sometimes, wonder just how we're going to make those ends meet - we each have something we're particularly thankful for. Perhaps it's a new baby or grandchild. A roof over our heads. A special person who has eased the way. A stranger who turned a bad moment into a better one. A paramedic or nurse who turned disaster into hope. A police officer lending a hand. A parent who knew just what to say. A friend who offered comfort. A job.
No matter how challenging these days as we approach Thanksgiving 2008, we'll bet you have something or someone who has touched your heart in a special way. Care to share and brighten the day for all of us? We'll print your comments in a special Thanksgiving edition of Neighbor on Nov. 27.
