Double-standard means inequality
When the executives of the Big Three automakers came to Washington, asking for loans to allow them to survive the present economic meltdown, they were grilled before a Congressional committee, broadcast on C-Span, and sent home to write a detailed business plan to improve the outlook for their companies.
Citibank came to town, received their billions, and left. The public learned about it after it was all over. We don't even know if there were any strings attached. Is there a double standard here?
