Missing Chicago student found

Authorities ay a 15-year-old Chicago girl who vanished after she was seen heading off to high school is back home and safe.

Chicago police said Wednesday night that Tisha Muentes is in good condition. They say the teen contacted her father, a city firefighter, and he called police.

Information about her whereabouts the past few days isn't immediately available.

Muentes was last seen leaving her grandmother's house Monday morning. Her father says a short time later she used a cell phone to tell a friend that she was on the bus and on her way to class at Lincoln Park High School.

A local resident offered a $10,000 reward.
