2 people shot to death in Chicago

Authorities say two people have been shot to death on the Chicago's South Side.

Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford says the victims were already dead when emergency officials responded to the scene around 5:20 p.m on Thursday.

Both were male and family members say at least one was a teenager. Authorities have not released the victims' identities.

A Chicago Police Department spokesman says the victims were unresponsive at the scene. An investigation is under way, and police are asking anyone with information to call them.
