Dundee Twp. library hosting book sale
The Friends of the Dundee Township Public Library will hold its Fall Gently Used Book Sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 14 and 15, in the library's meeting room, 555 Barrington Ave., East Dundee.
This sale features more than 13,000 items of all newly donated materials, including thousands of almost new books, CDs, DVDs, children's books, games, puzzles, audio books and video tapes.
Hardbacks will be sold for $1, and paperbacks, fifty cents. The sale will feature a special on romance paperbacks at five for $1.
Plus, if you bring a non-perishable item for the FISH Food Pantry or a recyclable bag for your purchases, you will receive one free paperback.
Interested parties are encouraged to come early for the best selections.
The Friends of the Dundee Township Public Library is a group of local residents who enjoy helping the library prosper and grow through volunteer
and fund-raising activities. Reorganized in 2004, the Friends have donated thousands of dollars to supplement needs that are not covered in the
library's yearly operating budget.
